The assembly features a C300x31 channel running continuously around the edge of a pit opening in a concrete slab. The channel is tied back into the concrete using welded Nelson studs spaced at 1000 mm on center. A plate closure and an L51x38x4.8 angle provide the support and edge condition to suit the removable grating.
