A structural steel diagonal brace frames into the intersection of a column and beam at a work point located on the centerlines of the framing members. The buckling-restrained brace, gusset plate, and its connections to the beam and column are provided by the brace supplier per the S5.5 series details. A bolted drag connection ties the beam flange to the connection assembly per detail 12 on sheet S5.10.
