A hollow structural section column supports a steel beam carrying a concrete slab on metal deck, braced by an L6x4x3/8 angle connected with five-eighths inch diameter bolts and a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. A guide post is mounted above with a one-inch clearance to the top of the post.
