An exterior concrete wall rests on a continuous concrete footing, reinforced vertically per plan and schedule. A concrete slab on grade ties into the wall with number four dowels measuring three feet six inches long at eighteen inches on center. The exterior slab or grade is coordinated with architectural drawings, featuring a thickened slab edge measuring thirty-six inches wide by two inches deep. Vertical dowels match the vertical wall reinforcement extending from the wall above into the footing.
