An 800S162-33 cold-formed steel stud framing member spaced at sixteen inches on center bears onto a hollow structural section girt, which is sized per elevation. The girt rests on a three-eighths by ten by eight inch steel embed plate secured to the masonry wall with two three-quarter inch diameter by six inch head stud anchors. A three-sixteenth inch typical field weld secures the connection with a field-weld symbol indicating typical execution.
