A concrete equipment pad supports an MEP unit with a minimum finish grade depth of one foot six inches. The concrete slab features reinforcement sized per plan with no construction joints permitted. The pad perimeter is reinforced with number four bars at two feet zero inches in length spaced at fourteen inches on center with standard hooks top and bottom around the entire edge of the concrete pad, maintaining two-inch and three-inch clearances. Two continuous number five reinforcing bars run horizontally through the thickened edge of the pad.
