An L3x3x1/4 structural angle brace connects to a supporting steel beam web using a PL3/8 x as required gusset plate. The gusset plate is secured to the beam flange with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld and to the beam web with a three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld. An optional five-eighths-inch diameter A325 bolt can be used instead of a weld. Erection bolts facilitate field positioning of the connection.
