A wide-flange column transfers load down to a wide-flange transfer beam through a column base plate and anchor bolts aligned with stiffener plates. The transfer beam connects to a supporting wide-flange column using a bolted shear tab connection. Additional web doubler plates are provided as required by the structural plan to reinforce the transfer beam web. The upper column offset is dimensioned with a minimum extension of three feet six inches from the supporting column centerline.
