A five-inch-deep steel joist bearing end connects to the support with two half-inch-diameter A325 erection bolts. A seven-and-a-half-inch-deep steel girder bearing end connects with two three-quarter-inch-diameter A325 erection bolts. A three-eighths-by-four-inch by one-foot-zero-inch tie plate ties the members together with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A stabilizer plate measuring six by three-eighths by zero-feet-six inches with a thirteen-sixteenths-inch-diameter hole is provided typically at all joists and girders, left unwelded to the bottom chords unless noted otherwise. The steel column supports the assembly below, with metal roof deck spanning across the top.
