A monorail beam connects to a supporting steel beam sized per plan using a standard single plate beam connection welded or bolted to the support flange. A stiffener plate is provided beneath the support beam web. A trolley stop angle is secured to the bottom flange of the monorail beam per section to restrict the travel of the hoist trolley.
