An aluminum channel section beam bottom flange connects to an aluminum rectangular tube and plate assembly. An aluminum angle 4x4x3/8 is typically welded to the rectangular tube with a quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides. A three-eighths-inch aluminum plate is secured to the side with S508 bolts typically. A one-and-a-half-inch typical dimension locates the bolt and angle position on the beam flange.
