Cold-formed metal stud walls connect to continuous top tracks with two number 8 screws at each stud. Ceiling joists frame into the assembly and attach with number 8 screws spaced at 8 inches on center. Metal stud walls are specified at 33 mils minimum thickness, with finishes per architectural drawings.
