A steel beam connects to a concrete wall utilizing two three-quarter-inch diameter heavy anchor bolts equipped with leveling nuts inside a twelve-inch by three-inch grout pocket that is solid-grouted after erection. Drag bars sized per elevation run continuously through the connection alongside top and bottom angles. A torch-cut hole in the steel plate accommodates the passage of the drag rebar across the centerline of the wall.
