A single layer of reinforcing steel is positioned within a concrete wall, featuring standard lap splices and a bent corner bar configuration. The assembly includes two number five vertical bars minimum at the corner, with alternating bend directions at every other bar. Lap splices may be used at bent corner bars unless noted otherwise on the plans.
