This structural connection features a buckling-restrained brace framing into a hollow structural section column via a gusset plate sized per the manufacturer. Wide-flange beams frame into the column with moment connections and shear tabs as specified per plan. Five-eighth-inch stiffener plates are welded to the beam web each side, and a three-eighth-inch by six-inch plate is welded near the brace intersection. A five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld secures the connection elements as detailed.
