A canopy beam and metal deck are supported by a precast concrete beam at Level P2 elevation 11'-4". An embed plate of specified thickness with welded studs is cast into the precast concrete beam at the hollow structural section beam connection. An L4x4x1/4 angle ledger is bolted to the assembly using three-quarter-inch diameter anchor bolts spaced at regular intervals on center.
