A beam bracing condition is located at an expansion joint between existing and new concrete slabs or walls on a partial plan. The assembly coordinates the structural layout across the joint with specified dimensional clearances. Notes direct the contractor to reference related connection details for kicker braces to steel decks where no adjacent beam occurs.
