A wide flange steel beam supports a three-sixteenth-inch bent plate at the high point ridge of a sloped roof assembly. The metal deck bears on the top of steel with the deck running either direction across the framing. A staggered three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld with a four-to-twelve pitch is specified on the near side and far side per note one. The top of steel and bottom of deck elevations are aligned at the ridge line.
