This structural detail shows a concrete slab bearing on a steel beam with an edge embed angle. An L3x3x1/4 embed angle with three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch studs at twelve inches on center anchors the slab edge. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run along the edge. The metal deck spans in either direction as sized per plan.
