A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab over a metal floor deck with a headed stud anchor. A one-half-inch plate connection provides support for the railing assembly, detailed with a six-inch overlap and welded connections. A continuous one-quarter-inch bent plate is incorporated to accommodate an electrical receptacle. Steel flat plate bar balusters and a steel mesh sheet span horizontally along the railing system.
