A quarter-inch gusset plate connects intersecting single-story braces centered on a working point. Three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolts provide temporary alignment for the brace members prior to final field welding. One-quarter-inch fillet welds secure the gusset plate assembly along the structural members. Brace sizes and configurations follow the structural framing elevations.
