A buffer tank with a maximum operating weight of 3650 pounds and a center of gravity height of three feet above the concrete pad is secured using one-half-inch diameter stainless steel Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors passing through mounting holes in the rail or plate per manufacturer specifications. The anchors require a two-and-one-half-inch embedment depth into the concrete. A minimum distance of eight inches must be maintained from the center of any anchor to the edge of the slab or construction joint.
