A steel beam connects to a vertical steel column using bolted framing connections at a grid intersection. The composite steel deck and concrete topping maintain a one-inch clearance gap at the exterior wall assembly. The studs are laterally braced at the drift track with a specified lap length. Adjacent conditions and architectural interfaces are coordinated per architectural drawings.
