A continuous Unistrut P1000 channel is welded to each end of a six-by-twelve-inch twelve-gauge steel plate with a one-eighth-inch fillet weld. This backing plate is attached to six-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center using eight number-twelve sheet metal screws, with double studs provided at connection locations. A Unistrut P2544 bracket fastens into the channel using two half-inch-diameter fasteners per bracket. Drape brackets are spaced at a maximum of four feet on center typically, and one foot four inches at the stacked side to support the drape track.
