A structural steel beam supports steel decking running parallel, perpendicular, or skewed as occurs at the roof ridge condition. Bent plate deck supports are provided on either side of the beam centerline to bear the metal deck. On a case-by-case basis, the support beams may be lowered as required by project geometry.
