A structural steel stair stringer bears onto a concrete floor slab over metal deck supported by a steel beam. The connection utilizes an L3x3x1/4 angle measuring four inches long, secured to the concrete with a three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolt placed inside a two-inch long-slotted hole. A quarter-inch fillet weld connects the angle to the stair stringer.
