A structural steel wide-flange beam intersects a cold-formed steel stud wall, with a ninety-seven mil track secured to the beam flange using a number twelve tek screw on each side at each stud. Minimum three continuous cold-formed steel king studs run the full height of the wall adjacent to the steel beam. Bundled bearing studs below connect to the jamb studs using a Simpson FCB clip to the top flange of the wide-flange beam. Steel studs above continue from the bottom track, which connects to the beam per standard structural details.
