Cold-formed steel framing at a wall opening includes jamb studs, head track, and sill track configured per structural schedules. Additional fasteners are specified at four inches on each side of the jamb studs at the deflection track. Number eight sheet metal screws secure each stud typically, with bridging installed per referenced details. Connections to concrete are detailed separately.
