A new four-inch concrete slab on metal deck bears upon a continuous four-by-four by five-sixteenths inch steel angle secured to an existing concrete beam. The angle is fastened using three-quarter-inch diameter adhesive anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center with six inches of embedment. Additional reinforcement consists of number three rebar at sixteen inches on center in both directions, epoxied four inches into the existing concrete.
