Steel beams frame into a column with continuity plates aligned with the top flanges. The connection utilizes shear tabs welded to the column flange with specified fillet welds and bolted to the beam web. Bolt counts and sizes for the first and second rows are sized per plan and notes. Top flange thicknesses TF1 and TF2 determine continuity plate sizing per the schedule.
