An eight-inch thick tilt-up concrete ramp wall bears on a continuous concrete footing. Wall reinforcement consists of number four vertical bars at twelve inches on center, centered in the wall, and number four horizontal bars at twelve inches on center. Number four dowels are spaced at twelve inches on center, increasing to six inches on center for two feet on either side of erection pads, which include shims and grout. The top of the wall contains two number four continuous bars and a one-half-inch expansion joint at the slab connection. A number four bar, three feet six inches long, is drilled and epoxied five inches into the wall at eighteen inches on center using Hilti HY-200 or equal to support the slab. The footing includes continuous reinforcement through erection pads and a contractor-optional three-inch minimum concrete mud mat.
