Suspended attachment details to an existing steel bar joist feature vertical hanger wires and support wires secured around the bottom chord web member intersection with a maximum spacing of six inches. The saddle tie requires a double loop at the support with hanger wires wrapped in three tight turns and bracing wires in four tight turns. Splay wires run parallel to the joist only and cannot be perpendicular to the joist. The maximum load per hanger is limited to fifty pounds.
