Equipment, isolators, and embed plates are provided by the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractor atop a concrete pedestal. The pedestal reaches a maximum height of two feet above the top of the deck and contains internal ties and reinforcement. The concrete deck consists of four and one-half inches of concrete on a three-inch minimum steel deck with deck reinforcement per plan.
