An elevated rail support consisting of a vertical LSL member receives a 3/8-inch by 7-inch by 8-inch cap plate connected with two bolts finger tightened only at a 4-inch gauge. This support bears on a structural steel beam connected via full-depth shear plates sized per plan, with three-sixteenth-inch typical fillet welds. The floor assembly comprises a lightweight concrete topping slab on geofoam over a metal roof deck, bounded by a continuous 18-gauge pour stop at the slab edge. A one-quarter-inch continuous fillet weld secures the structural steel framing at the elevation line TOC EL 135'-0".
