The assembly consists of a cylindrical drilled shaft with a diameter designated as shaft diameter and a three-inch clear cover to the reinforcement. Vertical reinforcement is spaced equally around the perimeter. Hoop reinforcement features alternating lap positions shifted by one hundred eighty degrees on every other hoop. Laps are specified with a length of Lsbt or six times the bar diameter with a three-inch minimum, incorporating hooks on two separate vertical bars.
