A structural steel beam connects to a perimeter cold-formed steel framing assembly supporting a metal roof deck. Cold-formed steel framing consists of continuous six-inch 16-gauge top and bottom tracks with six-inch 18-gauge metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Three number twelve self-tapping screws secure each stud intersection. Beam web stiffeners are provided on each side of the steel beam web. Two three-quarter-inch diameter A325 erection bolts connect the structural members.
