The construction joint is positioned within the middle one-third of the span, featuring a roughened and cleaned interface between the first and second pours. Top and bottom reinforcing bars run continuously through the joint. A half-inch deep saw cut for sealant is located at the top surface, complemented by a half-inch chamfer at the bottom edge.
