A cold-formed steel box header bears against a jamb stud sized per schedule with a one-quarter inch maximum typical clearance. The web of the track is bent and fastened to the jamb with a specified number and size of screws top and bottom. A track section is secured to the box header with screws on each side and fastened to the jamb stud. Four number ten screws at twelve inches on center connect the framing members.
