Two beams of differing depths frame into opposite sides of a structural column with a offset centerline condition. A bolted connection plate transfers forces between the shallower beam and the deeper beam across the column web. The work point is located at the centerline of the shallower beam where the depth differential condition applies. The depth of the deeper beam must be less than or equal to the shallower beam depth plus six inches. The connection on the opposite side matches the primary connection configuration.
