A buckling-restrained brace connects to a steel column and steel beam framing junction beneath a concrete over steel deck floor assembly. Gusset plates and attachments are designed by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer with typical near side and far side stiffener plates provided on the structural members as required. The brace features a bolted lug connection centered on the work point at the structural intersection.
