A concrete slab bears on a concrete column with embedded studrail strip plates and shear studs placed according to schedule. Concrete cover for slab reinforcement matches standard structural notes. At slab soffit steps and drop bands, stud spacing is limited to the smaller of the stud spacing or half the studrail height. A half-inch maximum overpour into the column is accommodated.
