Post-tensioning dead end anchorages are staggered and placed horizontally within the concrete slab with a minimum four-inch vertical spacing and one-foot horizontal spacing. Number 4 reinforcing bars twenty-four inches long are provided top and bottom, tied directly to the anchorages. Continuous tendons run horizontally across support bars placed as required. Slab chairs support the continuous tendons and maintain proper vertical alignment.
