The ground slab bears on a variable-width concrete grade beam with a damp-proof membrane lapped with Mulseal at the interface. Dowel reinforcing bars featuring standard ninety-degree hooks are anchored into the grade beam on a four hundred by four hundred millimeter grid using Hilti RE-500 V3 epoxy with a one hundred fifty millimeter embedment depth. Slab thickness is one hundred fifty millimeters, with slab and reinforcing detailed per the foundation plan.
