Single and double row layout configurations for three-quarter inch diameter shear studs welded to the top flange of a steel beam. Studs are spaced with minimum four-and-a-half inch and maximum twenty-four inch longitudinal dimensions. Transverse spacing requires a three-inch minimum for double rows and one-and-a-half inch minimum edge clearances. Stud lengths are coordinated with the steel deck schedule, and additional shear connector information is referenced in the general notes.
