An L1-1/2x1-1/2x1/4 angle is welded to two full-height deck flutes on each side of the opening with a typical 1/16-inch fillet weld. The maximum square or rectangular opening size is limited to 2 feet. Round openings are provided where indicated, and no reinforcing is required for openings smaller than 6 inches.
