A galvanized continuous one-quarter-inch bent plate is secured to a galvanized hollow structural section beam and roof deck sized per plan. The assembly features one-quarter-inch fillet welds typical at connections and includes a one-half-inch diameter weep hole typical. The roof deck bears over the structural framing at a specified bottom of deck elevation.
