An HSS 8x6x5/16 hollow structural section beam bears upon a L6x6x1/2 angle seat attached to a W18 wide flange supporting member, welded with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld on three sides. Inside the HSS member, a quarter-inch plate serves as a half-height internal stiffener. A continuous L4x4x1/4 angle connects to the side of the HSS to support the roof deck. A L6x3x3/8 long-leg-horizontal angle is positioned above with a four-inch dimension callout. Fillet welds of quarter-inch and five-sixteenths inch sizes secure the assembly components.
