A hollow structural section member connects to intersecting steel elements with a one-and-a-half-inch ASTM A1066 Grade 65 plate typical on both sides. Bolted connections join the angled gusset plates to the structural flanges, with a W21 bottom flange extending beyond the main connection zone. Overall dimensions measure eleven inches wide by one foot four inches high.
