The cantilever beam extends beneath the perimeter beam, joined with a wide-flange bracing connection using a full-depth shear plate per detail 18/S6.1. A stiffener plate is provided on one side per detail 13/S6.1. The perimeter wide-flange beam extends beyond the cantilever beam and remains continuous as shown.
