This assembly connects two concrete tilt-up panels at a corner using a 3/8 inch by 6 inch by 1 foot 0 inch embedded steel plate. The plate is anchored into the concrete with two 3/4 inch diameter by 5 inch long heavy-duty sleeve anchors and two 1/2 inch diameter by 24 inch long deformed bar anchors. A 3 inch by 3 inch by 3/8 inch angle, 10 inches long, bridges the corner joint and is secured with 3/16 inch fillet welds. The panels are positioned to maintain a 6 inch panel joint as specified in the architectural drawings. The top embed plate is located below the roof deck, with additional plates installed at mid-height at panel corners.
